Brighton Regional Doctors is a private billing practice. Consultation fees are payable in full at the time of consultation by EFTPOS, credit card or cash. Any applicable Medicare rebate can be deposited into your savings or cheque account at the same time.
A list of common consultation fees is displayed in the reception area and waiting room. A full of fees is available on request.
Treatment room and additional procedures or services may have an additional gap payment of up to $375 to your appointment cost depending on individual requirements.
We actively participate in “Close the Gap” for our patients who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander or with First Nations heritage. Please talk to our reception team about we can assist you with your health needs and reduce your health costs.
We offer no gap care to our Gold Card DVA veterans.

OUR FEE STRUCTURE
Our practice operates under a mixed billing model. This means there may be a
private fee to pay on the day of your appointment. We will continue to bulk bill
patients aged 12 years and under, as well as those aged 75 years and over.

Non-attendance to booked appointment
To help us offer appointments to everyone who needs them, we kindly ask that you
let us know at least 2 hours in advance if you can’t make it. If we do not receive
notice and the appointment is missed, a non-attendance fee of $50.00 will apply and will need to be settled before booking your next visit.
