Dr Mary Lumsden (she/her)

Dr Mary Lumsden qualified from the University of Nottingham (UK) in 2004. She completed GP training in 2011. She emigrated to the Island of Tasmania in 2014 where she has made her home with two black Labradors Dory and Pearl. She has a specialist interest in Women's health including insertion of IUDs and holds specialty diplomas in women's health and family planning. She holds Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Dr Sarah Burbury (she/her)

Sarah has 13 years experience in General Practice after completing her medical degree at UTAS in 2000, and subsequently her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2006. She lives on a farm in rural Tasmania with her husband and 2 sons and outside of work loves being a mum, cooking and enjoying good food with family and friends, travel, camping and especially taking her beagle ‘Buster' for long walks on the farm!

Sarah chose to specialise in General Practice because it allows her the privilege of getting to know her patients and care for them during good times and bad. She is especially interested in the areas of preventative health, womens and children’s health, family planning and antenatal care.

Dr Robbie Luelf (him/his)

Robbie studied at the University of Sydney, and has since worked in both Sydney and Hobart. He made the move to Tasmania with his young family in 2018, and he enjoys gardening, reading and cooking. Robbie loves the breadth of practice in GP, and has a particular interest in men's health, sexual health and LGBT health.

Robbie is an experienced Doctor who is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Claire van Breda (she/her)

I grew up in Hobart and graduated from UTAS. I have spent the last 5 years working in various areas to expand my knowledge, including a year working in the Emergency Department. I am interested in all areas of health, particularly women and children's medicine. My interests outside of work are footy, dogs and going for leisurely walks after brunch. Dr van Breda qualified as a Specialist General Practitioner in 2022.

Dr Amin Zarghami (he/him)

Dr Amin is an international medical graduate who worked in rural and regional areas before relocating to Tasmania in 2019 to pursue a PhD in medical studies at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research. Following several years at the Royal Hobart Hospital, he moved into General Practice. Beyond medicine, Dr Amin cherishes moments with his wife and their fur baby, enjoys travelling, and enjoys trying new foods and flavours.

Dr Jack Bowman (he/him)

Dr Jack grew up in Tasmania, graduating from the University of Tasmania in 2022 with a Clinical Distinction. He has spent the last few years gaining broad experience working in the Launceston General Hospital. He has close ties to Flinders Island and his strong connection with rural communities has shaped his approach to healthcare.

He enjoys all areas of General Practice but has particular interest in skin cancer, sports, and rural medicine. Outside of work he values playing competitive sport and staying active.

Dr Anna Koerner (she/her)

Dr Anna Koerner has lived in Tasmania for over 15 years and studied medicine at the University of Tasmania. Dr Koerner has worked at the Royal Hobart Hospital since 2023 rotating through a broad range of rotations including obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, geriatrics, emergency, and palliative care. Dr Anna is excited to be starting her training in General Practice at Brighton Regional Doctors. Dr Anna has an interest in all things medicine, but especially women’s and children’s health. Outside of work, she enjoys ocean swims, brunch with friends, reading a good book and hosting dinner parties.

Dr Cody Felmingham (he/him)

Dr Cody is a local Tasmanian who graduated from the University of Tasmania. He has spent several years working across rural North West Tasmania, gaining broad experience in places such as Burnie, Queenstown, King Island, and Smithton. In addition, Cody has developed additional skills in Palliative Care and Emergency Medicine as he completes his RACGP Rural Generalist fellowship. He also works part-time teaching medical students and enjoys supporting the next generation of doctors.

Outside of work, Cody enjoys fishing, camping, good food, spending time in nature, and with family. He is also kept busy by his Dalmatian, Darci.

Dr Kirsty McLean(she/her)

Dr. Kirsty graduated in Medicine from the University of Exeter (UK) in 2010, having had a career change from engineering. She completed her UK GP training in 2019 and practiced as a GP in the UK until March 2026.

Dr. Kirsty has a particular passion for women’s health, she holds the British Menopause Society’s Management of the Menopause Certificate, as well as a diploma in sexual & reproductive health. She is also qualified to fit contraceptive implants.

Outside of work, Dr. Kirsty enjoys hiking, paddle boarding and dragon boating. Dr. Kirsty and her partner made the Tasmania their home in April 2026 and are looking forward to everything that Tasmania has to offer.
